The Original CoolSculpting Treatment

The original CoolSculpting sessions involve a technician placing a proprietary applicator onto the treatment area. When the machine activates, the applicator suctions to the skin, gently drawing it up into the applicator to be exposed to a calibrated cooling. The cold temperature “freezes” the underlying fat cells without harming the skin or surrounding tissues. When the fat cells freeze, their cell membrane ruptures, causing them to die.

After a CoolSculpting treatment, the body naturally begins to process the dead cells out of the body as a form of waste. Once those cells exit the body, they never return or regrow. CoolSculpting provides long-term fat reduction as long as the patient continues to maintain a healthy weight. Gaining weight will obscure the results of CoolSculpting.

What is CoolSculpting Elite Able to Do Differently?

CoolSculpting Elite improves upon the original fat freezing process in many ways. The new machine and applicators offer advantages over the older equipment making this treatment more effective.

The original CoolSculpting machine only permits the use of one applicator at a time during a cooling session. CoolSculpting Elite allows the use of two applicators. In addition, the new machine introduces dual-sculpting capability enabling double the fat reduction in half the amount of time.

The CoolSculpting Elite applicators are completely re-engineered. Each handheld device possesses the new C-shape design. As a result, they complement the body’s natural curves for a better fit. These applicators also enhance the efficacy of treatment and improve patient comfortability.

Moreover, the new applicators feature a cooling panel that is 18% larger than the originals. This size increases the amount of fat frozen during each cooling session. CoolSculpting Elite sets itself apart from other available fat reduction options with the new designs.
